Pabaamashi

Pabaamashi is a Knox community project that strives to build trust and reconciliation, and build relationships between indigenous and non-indigenous people.  This interest group received an Emerging Spirit Grant…land-based practices to work with community partners in exploring traditional Anishinaabe through intergenerational, intercultural family camps. This project was given an Anishinaabe spirit name:  Pabaamashi which means “soaring around, looking all around”
