Minister: Meg Illman-White
Meg was called to be our Youth, Young Families and Outreach Minister in August 2015. She is a ordained minister with a lifelong passion for working in community to build partnerships between cultures, religions, and organizations to address issues of systemic poverty, racism, gender inequity, and other phobias that keep people from living in safety and abundance. She enjoys working with all ages from babies to Seniors and has served five pastoral charges over thirty years. Meg has two young adult children, who have been her inspiration in ministry with youth and young children. Following Cheryl Kinney Matheson’s retirement (Aug 1, 2017), Meg has been sharing more of the worship leadership and preaching responsibilities as well as increased pastoral care alongside the capable and gifted members and adherents at Knox. Currently (2018-19) Knox’s gym area will be renovated into a Permanent 24/7 shelter and service hub, while Knox moves back ‘home’ to its original building.
