Knox United Church is once again participating in the Coldest Night of the Year (CNOY 2021). On February 20th, Team Knox and Friends will be walking the walk, individually, yet together in spirit…. Our purpose? To support people and families experiencing homelessness, hurt and hunger in Kenora.
The money raised will be gratefully accepted to help support the wonderful efforts of Jubilee Church and the Kenora Fellowship Centre as they continue to work with the most vulnerable population in our community.
Please consider joining our team, making a donation or cheering us on. Our team so far is: Lindsay Koch, Elora Cavner, Matt Cavner, Kirsten Dexter, Meg and myself. You can join the team or sponsor one of us if you go online to: Coldest Night of the Year 2021 and search Team Knox and Friends. There, you can sponsor an individual team member or contribute directly to the team. Or, you can mail your cheque, payable to Coldest Night of the Year, to Knox and all information will be written on your behalf on the pledge sheet. Another option, if you prefer…… I can drop by your home, pick up your donation left in your mailbox and will fill out the pledge form for you. I can be contacted by phone at: 807-465-4065 or email: lynda.moncrief@gmail.com.
Our building is CLOSED to the public at present. Please join us for online Worship Services at your
Knox United Kenora YouTube Channel.
